Onion Missi roti


Onion paratha is one of the favorites at my home.  I tried this is different way today. There are many versions of  onion paratha…this is my version
INGREDIENTS:-
Wheat flour/Atta:  - 2 cups
Besan/Gram flour (SenagaPindi): -2 cups
Salt:  - according to taste
Jeera powder:  - 1 tablespoon (you could use Jeera instead of Jeera powder)
Dhaniya powder:  - 1 tablespoon
Turmeric:  - a pinch
Red chili powder:  - 1 tablespoon
Onions:  - 2 large (I used 4 small)
Green chilies:  - 1-2 (can be avoided if you find it would turn out spicy)
Oil:  - as required
METHOD:-
  1. Chop the onions into very tiny pieces
  2. Chop the green chillies into tiny pieces
  3. Mix well wheat flour, gram flour, dhaniya powder, jeera powder, red chilly powder, salt, onions, green chillies, turmeric till all the ingredients mix well.
  4. Knead dough with chapathi consistency
  5. Take spoonful of oil in hand and apply to the dough on outer side and leave it for say 15-20 minutes
  6. Make chapathis with it as usual.
  7. I made this along with paneer bhujiya :)
